Filmstar Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao’s wedding reception party at the Taj Mahal in Mumbai, which got under way at 9 pm India time on Saturday night, saw a heavy security arrangement that turned media photographers away, refusing to allow them to click pictures of the event.

Our photographer reports that several VIPs like Anil and Mukesh Ambani, filmstar Anil Kapoor and Mumbai Police Commissioner Ashmin Roy attended, but till midnight, many top stars were yet to arrive.

And when our photographer requested Sushma Reddy, the heroine of Vivek Agnihotri’s film Chocolate, for a picture when she was leaving the party after midnight, she said, I always let you take my pictures, but not today please. Our photographer guesses Aamir must have requested her not to get photographed in connection with the reception party.
